Ok so this look is inspired by Korean actresses slash singers. They have a very unique style of makeup which concentrates on glowy translucent skin, sparkling eyes, thick yet natural eyebrows and soft lips. So let's get started!
First of all, mixing tinted makeup base and two different shades of foundation is a perfect way to achieve a thin layered, translucent base yet giving a great coverage. Mika has fair skin but since shes asian so she has a little bit of yellow. The vanilla colour makes the pocelain one more natural on her. These two colours compliment eachother. By adding a tinted makeup base to the mixture, we are diminishing the heaviness of the foundation and adding more luminosity. This could be applied with a brush or a sponge or fingers and toped by a pearl shine loose powder. I also used highlights and blush on her face
The brows have to be thick yet natural. So instead of brushing all the way thru, I filled in the arched spaces above and under her eyebrows to create a thicker illusion. Since her hair colour is light brown, I matched a brown eyeshadow powder and brushed over her eyebrows with upwards and outwards motion. (and she is wearing coloured contact lenses)
Something unique about this makeup is definitely the eyeshadow part. We are trying to create barely-there but luminous eyelids and sparkling undereye. I simply applied a lavender colour pearly eyeshadow onto her lids instead of white cause its less harsh. And a champagne colour eyeshadow under her lower lash line. This makes her eyes shine while keeping the look soft and it also adds punch to this very soft look
Remember, we are trying to make the eyeshadow as natural as possible. So I dabbed some purple eyeshadow (matte) to her outer lids to make her yes pop more. This can be replaced by bronze, brown.. depending on what you like
Eyeliner is probably the only thing in this look that needs to be harsh. Since everything else is so smooth, I used cream + liquid black eyeliner to create a clean cut line. The key is extending all the way to ur inner corner and wing the outer corner, but just a little. and connecting the wing to a 1/3 lower liner. The line in the inner corner should be as thin as possible, gets thicker on top of your iris and gets a tiny bit thiner toward the wing.
Eyelashes should be clean, elongated and natural. So fake lashes aren't recommanded since they will make the eyeliner even harsher
